Steps to connect Salesforce to Shipstation

  • Login to your Shipstation Organization.
  • Click on Account tab on the Left section
  • Go to API Setting

  • Get API Key and API Secret, As this is Used for Username and Password to Authorize when Sending Data to Shipstation.

>We will be using Username and password from above in our code as Client Id and Client Secret.

>We will now create and update orders on Shipstation, on creating opportunityLineItem on opportunity record.

NOTE : The order’s status. Possible values: awaiting_payment, awaiting_shipment, shipped, on_hold, canceled. And Order Status is a required value to create order on shipstation.

NOTE : Some values are required to create order in shipstation:

orderNumber, OrderDate, OrderStatus,BillTo,ShipTo

Now Login to Salesforce and Open Developer Console__

Paste the below code :

 

>Create Trigger on OpportunityLineItem==

> Create a class and paste below code ===

Below is the Example:

OrderNumber on opportunity

Order Created on Shipstation with order Id and Order Number

>ShipLineItemKey gets populated with OrderId when order is created on shipstation
