We all are familiar with Facebook Messenger and Salesforce Einstein Bot. People these days prefer live chat support, but there might be cases when support agents are not readily available 24 hours a day. To ease out their work, Salesforce comes with Einstein Bot. The bot gives instant replies to their queries and supports messaging channels like SMS, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp channels. In this blog today, we are going to show you how we can integrate Einstein Bot with Facebook Messenger.

So let’s go step by step.

Step 1. Select the gear icon and go to setup.

Step 2. Find Einstein Bots in the Quick Find Box menu. Enable it and create a new chatbot.

Step 3. After completing this step you have to go to Messaging Settings and create a new channel.

Step 4. Select Start

Step 5. Select messaging channel to Facebook Messenger and Click Next

Step 6. Select Messaging Channel type and click next

Step 7. Now click on Authenticate Facebook.

Step 8. Clicking the button will redirect you to the Facebook login page. Enter your credentials.

Step 9. Now select your Facebook account.

Step 10. Select your Facebook page.

Step 11. Enter your chat confirmation message

Step 12. Now set the queue for omnichannel support

Step 13. Make a new Queue and assign the user to it.


Step 14. Now set the response priority of the queue.

Step 15. Now set your response team for work.

Step 16. Let’s finish the channel configuration and start connecting the chatbot to this channel.

Step 17. Click on done and setting up a new channel with a queue is completed.

Step 18. After the setup is completed it will look like the image:

Step 19. Now let’s come to the chatbot and make a connection between the channel and the bot.

Step 20. Select Facebook as a connection and search for the channel name


Step 21. Now open the Facebook page and set up the Button for a chat on your page. To enable messaging the chat.
