Opened in 2018, the Salesforce tower in San Francisco is 1,070 feet tall. It has 61 stories and is built on 1.4 million square feet of office space.

  • It takes just 39 seconds to reach the 61st floor by the elevator from the street level.
  • Salesforce tower also has the largest on-site water recycling system in a high-rise building in the US. Also, the system filters up to 30,000 gallons of water from sinks, toilets, and showers every day to safely repurpose it for non-potable uses.
  • 12,000 tons of steel were used for the construction.
  • 2.5 million people-hours were invested to build.

#5. The Culture of Diversity

Salesforce welcomes employees from different ethnicities. Last year, Salesforce set a goal to employ 50% of the US workforce from the underrepresented groups such as Women, Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Multiracial, LGBTQ+ employees, People with Disabilities, and Veterans by 2023.

Salesforce has more than 69, 530 employees globally. Also, the CRM leader has increased the headcount by 27% since the same time in 2020.
