Recently, at the 10th annual Education Summit, CRM leader Salesforce announced that it’s going to help higher education institutions become digital-first. With its expanded offerings for education, institutes can have flexible learning options, asynchronous collaboration, and personalized experiences for students and staff.

“Institutions recognize the importance of having a strong digital foundation to support the experiences that today’s students and alumni demand,” said Susan Morrow, GM for Education Cloud at Salesforce. “Salesforce Customer 360 for Education enables colleges and universities of all sizes to build their Student 360 and rapidly build new programs, such as executive education and flexible learning programs.”

Let’s learn more about it!

Education institutes can create Student 360 by leveraging Customer 360 for education

Digital-first learnings

Lifelong Learning: 76% of the workforce feel unprepared for the future of work, says Salesforce’s Digital Skills Index. With Salesforce’s Lifelong Learning, institutions can implement digital-first experiences allowing students to find relevant programs and courses.

Digital Campus: For the education sector, adjusting to the shift to virtual work is a big challenge. With Digital Campus, you can have connected experiences with students, faculty, and staff through collaboration and communication. Also, you get access to insights tools in an easy-to-use workspace that can be used by your staff or students whether they are on the campus or anywhere else in the world.

Admissions Connect: This is here to make admissions so much easier for both the applicants and the staff. With this, you can streamline the admissions process of your education institute. You’ll get the Application Form Builder to help admission teams easily build customized and branded applications without using any code. Also, this being built on the Salesforce platform, you can easily import data such as the applicant’s education history directly into the application.

Real-time and asynchronous collaboration to support students from anywhere

Using Slack for your educational institution, you can improve engagement and collaboration in real-time asynchronously. Also, you’ll get Student Success Alerts powered by Slack to boost efficient communication and support among faculty and students. You can alert them for Short attendance, low-grade concerns, or pending assignments.

Personalization for student and alumni relationships

You can now enjoy and deliver personalized experiences to your students and alumni for healthy relationships. With Digital Marketing and Engagement, you can deliver personalized content for targeted onboarding journeys for new students and foster better engagement with them.

You can also easily identify alumni for targeted fundraising campaigns and create personalized online experiences with Relationship-Driven Fundraising.
